Kimberly Manawatao was born in Oakland, California and spent her childhood venturing all terrains of Western America as well as traveling to and from the Philippines in a bilingual family.

After working in jewelry making, retail merchandising, various positions in hospitality and earning an AA in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising San Francisco, California, she moved to the UK to study, work and travel. In July 2015 she will graduate with a BA honours in Interior Architecture and Design from The Arts University at Bournemouth.

The projects that cross disciplines in hospitality design, space planning, and branding , have been and continue to be the work that holds the most interest to her.

She considers herself to be a global citizen working in hospitality in many countries such as Australia, Philippines, England and America. She feels that her experience and knowledge in the industry is an asset as it is important to understand the users perspective in order to design effective and efficient functional spaces for business.

Kim is an enthusiast of arts in the culinary world and thrives in outdoor sports. She has always been the happiest wherever interesting and compelling ventures has taken her.
